i managed to get on the bike practically every day since the beginning of may. there were two mornings when my ass was so sore from the ride the day before that caused
lost saddle
time.
those rest days actually made me want to ride my bike even
more. i also managed to get my bike buddy to start riding with me in the hills again. he is always willing to show me the correct technique for ascending an incline and i am always so very grateful for a good friend.
late-March
being on a schedule is just too boring for me. i honestly tried to be consistent but i just couldn't do it. i enjoy meeting linda for swimming a few times a week but other than that, i just want to go when i feel like it. since i am not planning on doing an races other than st. a's and a few local tris, i guess it doesn't matter, does it?

i 'm a bit worried about the 15k on sat. i know i can finish
but i haven't put in any kind of "race-pace" effort in 4
mos. i am hoping the wind won't be bad and that i'll enjoy
just being part of the event. i'm very excited for rob. it's
been a good 7 wks of solid 40+ mi for him. he definitely
deserves an injury-free running season.
