San Antonio - 8:00 a.m. at the ballfield (526 7th Ave, San Antonio, FL). Greco Middle School - A 50 mile ride beginning at 7:00 a.m. at Greco Middle School on Fowler Ave. midway between MOSI and I-75.  A lot of local racers attend this ride so there are between 20 and 60 people, depending on whether it is a race weekend or not. The ride goes north through Plant City and the pace varies between fast and very fast, with lots of turns and even a few hills at the end. Click here for a map of the Greco ride.

USF Rides - 8:00 am. Ride departs University Of South Florida's campus near Temple Terrace on Sundays at 8 a.m. This is a paceline ride, with hills and practice sprints. Next the ride heads toward Fletcher Avenue and I-275. For further information, e-mail Dave or Sherri Stedje at: backbay1@yahoo.com; or call (813) 949-2052.

Davis Island Interval Ride (info courtesy of Tall Ed Collins) - Tuesday and Thursday Nights between 5:00 - 7:00PM.  This ride has no "official" start time.  Due to its out-and-back configuration, simply ride along either Channel Drive or S. Davis Blvd until you see the pack.  Depending on the night and weather, there can be between 8-20 riders.  At the turn-arounds the group recollects any dropped riders and then accelerates until there a mad sprint at the other end.  Everyone but the lead rider gets dropped during the last 100 yards.  Do a U-turn, hop on again, and repeat as many times as you like.  This repeats until everyone is tired and heads home.  There are many Triathletes who "shadow" the main group doing their own "steady" workout.  Find a group that fits your pace and jump in. Click here to see a map of the bike route.

Gaither Ride - This is a 40 mile ride leaving from the parking lot behind Lifestyle's Family Fitness on North Dale Mabry at  8:00 during the winter and 7:30 during the summer. You will find out the date of the time change when you are either very early or very late for the ride. The ride takes off together but usually breaks into three groups of varying skill levels. The people are very nice and there is usually a group that adds a 20 mile extension, which includes a leisurely stop at Starbucks.

"Mommy" ride* - 8:30 a.m. M-W-F: Ride departs the Hillsborough County side of  the Friendship Trail bridge although you may park at Trappman's and join the group as they head to do a loop on Weedon Island and then over to St Pete/Snell Isle. Approx. 50 miles.
